At present, most doctors diagnose disease based on patient's description, routine examination (such as blood examination), and through their knowledge and experience. The most common method to diagnose diabetes is to undergo diabetes examination, which evaluates blood glucose and HbA1c level to determine whether it exceeds the normal level. That is to arrange a treatment plan for a period, then evaluates the effect to see whether the treatment plan is suitable. If the effect is not satisfactory, another treatment plan will be replaced and so on, until the best treatment plan is found. This method is imprecise and time-consuming, causing patients to miss the best opportunity for treatment. When the best treatment plan is found, patients’ diabetes condition has been already deteriorated and develops complications.
